Journal Three: Diary of the Open Road

Diary of the Open Road

Diary of the Open Road: Day Twenty One and Twenty Two

Big fail on my part. I went to Joshua Tree and forgot to take a picture of a Joshua tree.

Great job, Sarah.

I got so distracted by flowers and crawling up mountains to catch sunset that I didn't really give two thoughts over what I was catching through the lens. The second day, I actually left my camera in the van altogether. Sometimes the best memories are the ones you capture with only your eyes and your heart, and after documenting my life day in and day out for the last 20-something days, I took a small break.

A SMALL BREAK.

Definitely back into amateur photojournalist mode as we have found our toes on the sandy beaches of the west coast.

While in the Joshua Tree National Park, I was without service, but I am hoping to get back into keeping up with the daily journal from here on in!

For now, here is a handful of photographs I did take the first evening at Joshua Tree. Such a wild place.
